The Japanese Government’s MEXT Scholarship will be available in all countries starting April. This scholarship program provides 10,000 scholarships to students who intend to pursue undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs in Japanese universities.
The MEXT Scholarship is regarded as the biggest scholarship program by the Japanese government. It covers the entire expenses of the student during the scholarship period.
You will be an important student in Japan due to the MEXT Japan Scholarship. The good news is that you don’t have to have a good knowledge of the Japanese language to be eligible to study in the country. All of the academic fields and major are available to study in Japan. This scholarship is open to all the participants from Asia, Pacific, North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, Africa who have diplomatic relations. The Japanese government offers all types of Study Options from Social Science to Engineering, Medical to Health, Arts, Humanities Etc. There are No Academic Fields Restrictions.
Financial Coverage
The MEXT Japan Scholarship is a Fully Funded Scholarships for International Students to Study in Japan. All the Expenses will be covered by the Japanese Government.
Allowances: Monthly Stipend Allowance and Preparatory Allowance
Education Fees: Fees for the Entrance Examination, and Tuition Fees at Universities will be paid
Traveling Expenses: Travel expenses to Japan will be paid by MEXT
Accommodations: Residence halls for international students provided by universities.
General Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a nationality of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan.
An applicant with a Japanese nationality at the time of application is not eligible.
Applicants must have been born on or after April 2, 1985.
Master’s course: Applicants who have completed 16 years of School education in countries other than Japan.
Doctoral Course: Applicants who have completed 18 years of school education in countries other than Japan.
